Cannabinoids

Cannabidiol

CBD is the most well known cannabinoid found in hemp. Unlike THC, CBD is non-psychoactive, and has a wide variety of health benefits. CBD has been shown to aid in pain relief, reduce inflammation, treat insomnia, and suppress tumor growth, among many other positive effects.

Isolated Cannabinol (CBN)

CBN is usually present only in trace amounts in hemp. However, this cannabinoid has been shown to produce many positive health benefits even at small concentrations. CBN is very effective in stimulating appetite, treating pain and reducing inflammation, and suppressing the growth of harmful microbes.

Cannabigerol (CBG)

CBG is commonly known as the “mother cannabinoid” as other common cannabinoids, such as CBD and THC, are produced from this parent molecule. CBG is usually found at high concentrations in hemp, and has been shown to reduce anxiety, aid in the treatment of glaucoma, and help treat depression.

Cannabichromeme (CBC)

CBC has been shown to work synergistically with other cannabinoids to help treat inflammation, reduce the growth of microbes, and aid in pain relief, among other health benefits. However, new research has shown that CBC has unique properties as well, including promoting brain development and the growth of neurons.
